Nature house in Putten

It was a lovely cottage with all the amenities. There was also a nice garden surrounding the cottage. A big, comfy couch where you can plop down after a day of biking. It’s a wooden Finnish log cabin with a modern kitchen and bathroom (with a shower that has a good water pressure).

Het was een fijn huisje met alles erop en eraan. Ook een fijne tuin om het huisje heen. Grote plofbank waar je na een dag fietsen lekker op kunt ploffen. Het is een houten Finse blokhut met een moderne keuken en badkamer (met douche waar een goede straal uitkomt)

It was wonderfully peaceful there. It felt a bit like being alone in the world, yet still surrounded by people. It’s located next to the Sprielderbos, which, together with the Speulderbos, is a great place to go cycling. I’d love to come back again sometime in the future.

Het was er heerlijk rustig. Beetje het gevoel van alleen op de wereld, maar toch mensen om je heen. Gelegen naast het Sprielderbos waar samen met het Speulderbos heerlijk fietsen is. Ik kom graag in de toekomst nog eens terug.

It was a very cozy, truly Swedish cottage. So cozy! A huge, comfy sofa to relax on. Cozy lighting. Brand-new kitchen and shower. Lovely garden. Green views in every direction! The heating worked well and was comfortable. One small downside: the mattress on the double bed was a bit too firm for me, which caused some mild back pain despite the mattress topper. If they were to replace it, I’d give it a 10! By the way, the cottage is located in a tiny little park. You don’t really notice it, except that it made me feel safe (I was alone) knowing there was some life around me.

Het was een heel gezellig, echt Zweeds huisje. Heel gezellig! Enorme lekkere plofbank om op te chillen. Gezellige verlichting. Splinternieuwe keuken en douche. Heerlijke tuin. Aan alle kanten groen uitzicht! Verwarming werkte goed en was comfortabel. Een klein minpuntje: het matras van het tweepersoonsbed was voor mij wat te hard, wat lichte rugpijn opleverde ondanks het topmatras. Als daar een andere in komt te liggen, zou ik een 10 geven! Het huisje ligt overigens op een piepklein parkje. Je merkt er eigenlijk niks van, behalve dat het mij een veilig gevoel gaf (ik was alleen) dat er toch wat leven om me hen was.

We went on some beautiful walks starting right from the cottage. You can just walk right into the woods and out onto the heath. The “De Duintjes” hike, a little further away near Garderen, was also like something out of a fairy tale. And the silence… wonderful!

Prachtige wandelingen gemaakt vanuit het huisje. Je loopt zo het bos in en de heide op. Wandeling De Duintjes, iets verderop bij Garderen, was ook sprookjesachtig. En de stilte… heerlijk!
