Nature house in Hattemerbroek

The cottage is well-maintained and clean. It’s great that there’s so much storage space. It has all the amenities; the couch was maybe a little hard, but that didn’t spoil the fun. The bed was fine too, though that really depends on personal preferences. The sunroom is a wonderful addition—we used it a lot. It’s also nice that there are two lounge chairs. We gratefully made use of the fan provided. Due to the proximity to nature (the forest), there were quite a few flies inside. The only downside is that there’s no private parking; instead, there’s a public parking spot right in front of the gate, which means visitors to that part of the park can see right into the property. There’s also a path right next to the garden that leads to the other cottages.

Huisje is prima verzorgd en schoon. Fijn dat er zoveel bergruimte aanwezig is. Van alle gemakken voorzien, bank was misschien wel wat hard, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Bed ook prima, al is dat heel erg afhankelijk van persoonlijke voorkeuren. Serre is een hele fijne toevoeging, daar hebben we ook veel gebruik van gemaakt. Ook fijn dat er twee ligbedden aanwezig zijn. We hebben dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van de aanwezige ventilator. Door de nabijheid van de natuur (bos) wel veel vliegen binnen. Enige nadeel is dat er geen eigen parkeergelegenheid is, maar een openbare parkeerplek precies voor de poort, waardoor je wel veel inkijk hebt van bezoekers van dat gedeelte van het park. Er ligt ook precies een pad naast de tuin die naar de andere huisjes leidt.

Beautifully situated on the edge of a small park, near the woods and heathland. The park itself isn’t particularly attractive, but you don’t really notice it since the cottage is on the edge of it. Access roads are excellent (close to the A50), and the shops in Wezep are within a half-hour walk. The train did pass by regularly, though, and you can hear it quite clearly. On the other hand, you could also clearly hear the goats and horses, and a donkey or two. We found that to be a pleasant surprise. A 5- to 10-minute drive away is a beautiful lake with a beach and sunbathing area where we spent many days enjoying the warm weather. The water is gorgeous, and it’s not too crowded, so you can relax comfortably. It’s definitely a must-visit for children as well.

Mooi aan de rand van een kleinschalig park gelegen, nabij bos en heide. Park zelf is niet heel mooi, maar daar krijg je niet veel van mee aangezien het huisje aan de rand is gelegen. Uitvalswegen prima (vlakbij A50) en winkels in Wezep zijn binnen een half uur te voet te doen. Wel kwam de trein regelmatig langs, wat best goed te horen is. Daartegenover waren ook de geitjes en paarden evenals een ezel of twee goed te horen. Dat vonden wij dan weer een aangename verrassing. Op 5 à 10 minuten rijden ligt een prachtig meer met strand en ligweide waar we menige dag in de warmte hebben doorgebracht. Prachtig water en niet te druk bezocht waardoor je fijn kunt liggen. Ook voor kinderen zeer zeker een aanrader.

Van alle gemakken voorzien, alleen de bank in de woonkamer zat niet echt prettig.

A beautiful, spacious chalet, fully equipped, with a large fenced-in garden. Parking spaces are available near the chalet. Quiet surroundings with the Wezepsche Heide within walking distance—perfect for a nice walk with the dog.

Mooi, ruim opgezet chalet, van alle gemakken voorzien, met ruime omheinde tuin. Parkeerplaatsen nabij het chalet. Rustige omgeving met de Wezepsche Heide op loopafstand om lekker met de hond te wandelen.
