Nature and surroundings
The nature house is an excellent base for visiting the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Deventer (4km) and Zutphen (10km) with in both cities a lively atmosphere with several restaurants, terraces and museums worth visiting. A short distance away is the village of Gorssel with its famous museum More and the varied nature of the Gorsselse heath. In the immediate vicinity are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. The Achterhoek is known for its eight castles route: the ultimate cycling route to enjoy the beautiful nature and beautiful castles. The National Park Sallandse Heuvelrug and National Park De Hoge Veluwe also have an extensive walking and cycling network. In short, plenty to see, do and experience.
