Nature house in Bad Karlshafen

Enjoy peace and quiet along with a panoramic view over Helmarshausen toward historic Krukenburg. Our recently renovated apartment, measuring approximately 65 m², accommodates 2 to 4 people and features two separate bedrooms, making it ideal for couples, families, or friends. The master bedroom has a large bed measuring 200 × 200 cm. The second bedroom features two single beds that can be arranged separately or side by side. You’ll also find a modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room. Outside, there’s a large garden with various seating and lounge areas and a gas grill. Enjoy the sunrise, the view, and the tranquility; deer and foxes are also regularly spotted in the area. The garden is shared with the other vacation apartment, is partially fenced, and dogs are welcome. The house is situated on a slope and is accessible from the parking lot via outdoor stairs. Inside, everything is on one level.

Helmarshausen is located in the heart of the lush Weserbergland region, surrounded by forests and hills. Take a hike from the village to the medieval Krukenburg Castle or explore the history of the 11th-century monastery. Just 5 km away is Bad Karlshafen, known for its Baroque architecture, Huguenot history, and historic harbor. The surrounding area offers wonderful opportunities for hiking, biking, and mountain biking. For example, follow the Weser Bike Path toward Höxter or go canoeing on the Diemel past Trendelburg and the moated castle of Wülmersen. The Solling-Vogler Nature Park and the vast Reinhardswald are also nearby. The Reinhardswald is also part of the Brothers Grimm’s “Fairy Tale Region.” Here you’ll find Sababurg Castle, known as Sleeping Beauty’s castle, while Trendelburg is associated with Rapunzel. What makes this area special to us: no mass tourism, but plenty of nature, castles, small towns, and above all, plenty of peace and space.
