Discover the tranquility and natural beauty of the Weserbergland region from our recently renovated vacation apartment in Helmarshausen. Located in the heart of Germany, between the Reinhardswald and the Solling-Vogler Nature Park, this is the ideal base for nature lovers and active vacationers. The 80 m² apartment is one of two vacation apartments on the ground floor of our house and features two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be arranged either separately or pushed together. The apartment also features a modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room. From the terrace and the large garden, you can enjoy a beautiful view of forests, fields, and the historic castle ruins. Perfect for families, friends, hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers.

Our vacation rentals are located just 5 km from historic Bad Karlshafen. This charming town is known for its Baroque architecture, spa, and Huguenot history. Enjoy its cafés, shops, and serene atmosphere. Helmarshausen itself has a rich medieval history, featuring an 11th-century monastery and historic ruins. Just 15 km away lies the enchanting Reinhardswald, known as Germany’s fairy-tale forest, featuring Sababurg, the “Fairy-Tale Castle” that inspired “Sleeping Beauty.” Canoeing on the Diemel offers a unique experience past historic sites such as Trendelburg and the moated castle of Wülmersen, or explore the picturesque Weserbergland with its rolling hills and dense forests. The Weserradweg, a bike path from Bad Karlshafen to Höxter, offers many picturesque stops. Nearby is the Solling-Vogler Nature Park, known for its pristine forests. Perfect for hiking, biking, and even tree climbing.
