This nature house offers a unique experience. This former military site near the Veluwe is now a cultural enclave where art, nature, and recreation come together. Scattered throughout the forest are 11 follies—unique structures, each with its own story. One of these follies is tucked away at the edge of the forest, in a sunny spot. What looks like a traditional haystack turns out to be a stylish Tiny house. The facade can automatically fold open and become a terrace. Behind it lies a living room with a kitchen. The glass folding wall opens onto the sunny terrace. Inside, you’ll find a modern interior, featuring a trendy pink staircase leading to the bedroom, which consists of a spacious double bed and two box beds in a single room. What makes this folly so special is the incredible rooftop terrace—an additional open-air living space beneath the wooden roof structure, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape, ideal for relaxation and tranquility.

A very nice little house, fully equipped, with a beautiful rooftop terrace and plenty of privacy. The bed consists of two mattresses that slide apart; it was quite firm, but of course that’s a matter of personal preference.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

Beautiful surroundings, though you can hear the highway in the distance.
