Nature house in Oostkapelle

Everything we needed was there, even the small bedroom was fine, and everything was clean and tidy, super! Cozy that you can also sit outside under a canopy which now also blocked some sun. We will be back because I really love this beautiful part of Zeeland, on a bike path that towards Domburg in evening sunshine gives a fairy-tale atmosphere with the low winding oak trees. That's why this place is a 10 for me.

Alles wat we nodig hadden was er, ook de kleine slaapkamer voldeed prima, en alles was goed schoon en netjes, super! Gezellig dat je ook buiten onder een afdak kunt zitten wat nu ook wat zon tegenhield. Wij komen nog eens terug want ik hou heel erg van dit prachtige stuk van Zeeland, aan een fietspad dat richting Domburg in avondzon een sprookjessfeer geeft met de lage kronkelige eikenbomen. Daarom is dit plekje voor mij een 10.

Being on the edge of this beautiful nature reserve is really fantastic. It's kind of a dune pan feeling with its own forest path and sweet beautiful cottage. Only bird sounds around you-and the occasional snippet of conversation on the bike path, which is also funny. This is where you really unwind. Walking to the beach, walking or cycling to an organic store with bakery and a nice lunch address(kaslokaal), walking in the forest and finding a back entrance to the Oranjezon nature reserve (with map from a sister organization of the Zeeland landscape) : for me and our family it was fantastic. Aan de rand zitten van dit prachtige natuurgebied is echt fantastisch. Het is een soort duinpan gevoel met eigen bospaadje en lief mooi huisje. Alleen vogelgeluiden om je heen- en af en toe een flard van gesprekken op het fietspad, wat ook grappig is. Hier kom je echt tot rust. Wandelen naar het strand, wandelen of fietsen naar een biologische winkel met bakkerij en een leuk lunchadres(kaslokaal), wandelen in het bos en een achteringang vinden van het Oranjezon natuurgebied (met kaart van een zusterorganisatie van het zeeuws landschap) : voor mij en ons gezin was het fantastisch.

Everything was perfectly fine. The hostess is very cozy and caring and was always there for us.

Alles was perfect in orde. De gastvrouw is zeer gezellig en zorgzaam en stond altijd voor ons klaar.

What a wonderful place to just "be". We spent whole days living outside on the cozy porch. Enjoying the morning sun and the evening sun. The children built cabins in the accompanying grove and played outside for whole days. The beach was lovely, a cozy beach bar next to it and also swimming. Super! In the cottage is a wonderful atmosphere of "old times", but with the comforts of today: cooking on the induction hob, nice shower and a convenient electric bbq. Super nice how all the old cabinets and cupboards can be used practically! We enjoyed and would love to come back again!

Wat een heerlijk plekje om gewoon "te zijn". We hebben hele dagen buiten geleefd op de gezellige veranda. Genietend van de ochtendzon en de avondzon. De kinderen hebben hutten gebouwd in het bijbehorende bosje en hele dagen buiten gespeeld. Het strand was heerlijk uitwaaien, een gezellige strandtent er bij en ook nog gezwommen. Super!
In het huisje is een heerlijke sfeer van "vroeger", maar met het comfort van nu: koken op de inductiekookplaat, fijne douche en een handige elektrische bbq.
Super leuk hoe alle oude kasten en kastjes praktisch kunnen worden gebruikt!
Wij hebben genoten en komen graag nog eens terug!

The cottage is located on a cul-de-sac so hardly any cars pass by, only cyclists and pedestrians. In fifteen minutes you can walk to the beach or the village. At night it is dead quiet and dark, which we found very nice. In short, highly recommended.

Het huisje is gelegen aan een doodlopende weg waardoor er nauwelijks auto's voorbij komen, alleen fietsers en voetgangers. In een kwartiertje loop je naar het strand of het dorp. 's Nachts is het er doodstil en donker, wat wij heel fijn vonden. Kortom een aanrader.

We enjoyed the peace and privacy during our stay in this beautiful cottage in a beautiful place on the edge of the forest and the dunes. The cottage is tastefully and carefully decorated; we lacked nothing. A few days before our departure we received a nice letter containing an inventory list and packing tips! We were warmly received by hostess Marianne, who was easily accessible if needed. We had a great time on the veranda, where the sun rises in the morning and which is attractively lit in the evening.

Wij hebben genoten van de rust en privacy tijdens ons verblijf in dit mooie huisje op een prachtige plek aan de rand van het bos en de duinen. Het huisje is smaakvol en met zorg ingericht; het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken.
Enkele dagen voor ons vertrek ontvingen wij een mooie brief met daarin een inventarislijst en inpaktips!
Wij werden hartelijk ontvangen door gastvrouw Marianne, die goed bereikbaar was indien nodig. Het was goed toeven op de veranda, waar 's morgens de zon opkomt en die 's avonds sfeervol wordt verlicht.
