In the heart of the olive groves and natural pools of Fanghetto, this charming, atypical 27 m2 stone apartment with terrace and vaulted rooms comprises: - A fully-equipped kitchen - A bedroom - A bathroom Terrace: - You'll also have access to a private, panoramic 15 m2 terrace, partly under the vines, for outdoor meals. It's a 2-minute walk from the accommodation - Linen is provided: sheets, towels, tea towels Unfortunately, the accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or young children.
Nature and surroundings
Welcome to Fanghetto (Olivetta San Michele), a picturesque 13th-century village perched on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the Roya Valley on the French-Italian border. Its houses are built of stone, and the streets are small, narrow and pedestrianized. The village was built by monks among olive trees, and is just a few minutes' walk from the Roya river. We've put together a guide to the best bathing spots around the house. Some spots can be reached by taking a stroll through the terraced olive groves... at the end of the path you'll find magnificent natural pools, still wild, or sandy beaches on the banks of the Roya. Just a few minutes' walk from the house, along the main road, you'll find our local grocery store/bar. Marisa opens her Alibaba cave to you in a typically Italian atmosphere. Parking spaces are free.
