In the heart of the olive groves and natural pools of Fanghetto, this charming, atypical 27 m2 stone dwelling with terrace and vaulted rooms is composed as follows: - A fully-equipped kitchen - A bedroom - A bathroom Terrace: - You'll also have access to a private, panoramic 15 m2 terrace, partly under the vines, for outdoor dining. It's a 2-minute walk from the accommodation - Linen is provided: sheets, towels, tea towels Unfortunately, the accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or young children.
Nature and surroundings
Welcome to Fanghetto (Olivetta San Michele), a picturesque 13th-century village perched on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the Roya Valley on the French-Italian border. Its houses are built of stone, and the streets are small, narrow and pedestrianized. The village was built by monks among olive trees, and is just a few minutes' walk from the Roya river. We've put together a guide to the best bathing spots around the house. Some spots can be reached by taking a stroll through the terraced olive groves... at the end of the path you'll find magnificent natural pools, still in the wild, or sandy beaches on the banks of the Roya. Just a few minutes' walk from the house, along the main road, you'll find our local grocery store and bar. Marisa opens her Alibaba cave to you in a typically Italian atmosphere. Parking spaces are free.
