Nestled among the olive trees and natural pools in Fanghetto, this charming, unique 27 m² stone cottage features a terrace and vaulted ceilings. It is laid out as follows: - A fully equipped kitchen - One bedroom - One bathroom Terrace: - You’ll also have access to a 15 m² private terrace with panoramic views, partially shaded by grapevines, perfect for outdoor dining. Welcome to Fanghetto (Olivetta San Michele), a very charming, picturesque 13th-century village. The village is perched on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the Roya Valley, on the French-Italian border. Its houses are made of stone, and the streets are small, narrow, and pedestrian-only. The village was built among olive groves by monks. The village is just a few minutes’ walk from the Roya River. We provide you with a guide we’ve put together ourselves, highlighting the best swimming spots near the house. Some of these spots are accessible via a stroll through terraced olive groves… at the end of the path, you’ll find magnificent natural pools, still untouched by development, or sandy beaches along the banks of the Roya. Just a few minutes’ walk from the house, along the main road, you’ll find our local grocery store and bar. Marisa welcomes you to her “Aladdin’s cave” in a typically Italian atmosphere. Parking is free.
