Detached half-timbered house that was lovingly renovated in 2024 with lots of real wood furniture. Fully equipped house for four people with air conditioning, large balcony, peace and quiet and plenty of space in beautiful surroundings with lots to do: Kellerwald National Park, Lake Edersee, old half-timbered towns with wonderful hiking opportunities or cycling tours and Winterberg and Willingen are not far away either. Since November 2025, the vacation apartment has had a high-quality water filter system for drinking water that can be used free of charge.
Nature and surroundings
Location in the Waldeck-Frankenberg region near Edersee, Hesse. The vacation apartment is located in the vacation village of Frankenau. The small, quiet vacation village is located right next to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. In winter, you can have fun in the various ski areas. In summer, there is plenty to experience. Lake Edersee (15 minutes away by car) is easy to reach. This is a very large reservoir that is definitely worth a visit! There are also several towns and villages to visit where you can still admire real half-timbered houses. Nature takes center stage in all seasons. The apartment is located in a natural and peaceful setting. From the apartment you can go on beautiful hikes, mountain bike tours, horseback riding or motorcycle tours.
