This nature house is a new forest house built in 2022. From November 2024 it will be rented out for a few months. Often we live there ourselves. The house was designed by the owner/architect as a loft, making it spacious and light even on dark days. The ground floor of 75 m2 has all the main living functions, a living room with a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed of 1.80 x 200 m. The bathroom, toilet and storage room are in the middle part. On the 1st floor is a bedroom with 2 single beds: 90 cm x 2.20m, a work corner, a sink with toilet and an exercise bike. The terrace has a dining table with 4 chairs. The outdoor storage room has 3 touring bikes (2 women's and 1 men's bike). The house is fully furnished. You only need to bring your personal belongings. There are also 2 workstations, 2 extra screens, super fast internet and 2 parking spaces at the house. Because we are allergic to cats, only a dog is allowed.
Nature and surroundings
This Nature House is located in a small private forest park 'De Witte Berken' with an abundance of trees. Squirrels run to and fro and at night you can hear the owls. From the house you can walk or cycle straight into the forest. Ten minutes walk and you come to the dog park where your dog can walk and swim freely. At 3 km is an 18 hole golf course. Nearby are many estate stores selling organic products. Ten minutes cycling distance is Lochem, known for its cozy market square with many restaurants, quality stores, cafes and terraces. The municipality has the largest estate density in the Netherlands and has been declared the walking municipality of the Netherlands in 2022. Nature is very varied with the coulisse landscape, rivers (Berkel and IJssel) and hills (Lochemse Berg and Kale Berg). Zutphen (15 car minutes) and Deventer (30 car minutes) are close by. MORE's new museums are in Ruurlo and Gorssel.
