The cottage has an area of 40 m2 with a separate staircase to a storage/sleeping loft. You enter through a cozy covered porch into the cozy living room with kitchen where you can perfectly enjoy the scandinavian atmosphere with 4 people. From the room/kitchen you have direct access to the 2 adjacent bedrooms, each with a double bed. The bathroom has a rain shower / sink combination and toilet. This house is gas free and equipped with an electric water heater. Furthermore, the house is equipped with all amenities where you can relax. From the covered porch you have an unobstructed view of the meadows and nature.

Located in the watery outskirts of the Veenhoop and the wooded area Beetsterzwaag but close to the hustle and bustle of Drachten, Leeuwarden and Heerenveen. Boornbergum is a small cozy village with supermarket, bakery, restaurant and snack bar / pizzeria for takeaway pizzas. Our scandinavian cottage is located on a spacious plot next to our thatched farmhouse with private driveway and entrance. The recreation house has optimum privacy with its own parking space.
