Welcome to our beautifully renovated forest house, located in a fine wooded area and suitable for 4-6 people. As many recycled materials as possible were used in the renovation. The interior is warm and stylish, with a natural look in keeping with the surrounding nature. The house has two cozy bedrooms. The bedrooms are very spacious (each 26 m2 for 3 pers.) with ensuite bathrooms. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. In the large garden you can enjoy the view or the morning sun. A special aspect of this place is the food forest next to the house. Stroll through the food forest, start a fire in the fire pit, play games at the long family table, or relax in a hammock. Open the garden doors in the morning and enjoy your coffee in bed.... You just have to experience it for yourself!
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house, garden and food forest stands on a plot of about 6000m2 embraced by grassland and the Bolksbeek. From this point you have direct access to a network of cycling and hiking trails. Here you can fully enjoy breathtaking views and the charming, typical Achterhoek coulisse landscape. In the vicinity you will find several nature reserves, such as the serene Beekvliet and Velhorst. For culture lovers, Museum More in Ruurlo Castle and Hackfort Estate in Vorden are recommended. Perfect for a combination of culture, hiking and exploration! Fancy something special? Spot flamingos just across the German border in Vreden, where a merry colony settles in the Zwillbrocker Venn as soon as the weather gets warmer. And for some splashes and swimming fun, Hambroekplas (a 5-minute drive away) and a fresh splash in Bolksbeek are the perfect places to cool off. Enjoy all the beauty the Achterhoek has to offer!
