The nature house is located in Merkem, a village in the middle of the Westhoek, bordering on a Nature Reserve. We offer stylish rooms, which are also wheelchair accessible, in a green environment equipped with all facilities for a carefree stay. As a vacation home ideal for a family or a group, as well as a bed & breakfast for two or alone. Around Huis Leon there are more than 2,500km of cycling routes. From the farm you step into the walking network De Blankaart.

Come hiking and biking along marshes and meadows, or take a boat trip on the whisper boat in nature reserve De Blankaart. The area is located in the IJzer Valley, between Oost-Vleteren and Diksmuide, in the province of West Flanders.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
