Among the trees and fields located wooden forest house: architecturally converted barn with wood stove. My house has a comfortable bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower. The kitchen is very fully equipped so if you want to enjoy cooking you can indulge yourself. The double bed is under cozy wooden beams and has two large skylights so you can look at the trees and the stars from bed. The living room has a lazy hanging sofa in front of the wood stove, a work/dining area overlooking a large field, a piano, dining table and a richly stocked bookcase. The large porch with dining table and lounge sofa will keep you dry even when it rains. This great house is very personally decorated and only for rent when I am away myself. The care for my two cats -Moos and Noor- I leave to you: 10 years ago I rescued them as kittens from a feral mother from the bushes next to my house.
Nature and surroundings
Within walking distance of the Arnhem entrance to national park De Hoge Veluwe, my house is located on a special site: Buitenplaats Koningsweg. This former defense site is on my initiative developed into creative living and working environment and houses eleven special vacation homes. Ideal for couples or individuals seeking peace and quiet but also appreciate the proximity of the cozy and creative Arnhem. National Park Veluwezoom, the Deeler forest and the beautiful Warnsborn estate are only a few kilometers away. In clear weather, you can see the Milky Way at night. Badgers, foxes, owls and ravens scurry around the house. A little further away you can see deer, boars and sometimes a wolf.
