If you want to discover National Park Nieuw Land, our cottage is the ideal base. Sandwiched between the Oostvaardersplassen, the Markermeer and near the Lepelaarsplassen, nature is close by in all its facets. The cottage is equipped with all comforts and the attic* with double bed offers views of the hinterland where deer, fox and bald eagle are regularly seen. The belling of the red deer can even be heard from bed during the rutting season! In the ecological kitchen garden we grow our own vegetables and fruit which you as a guest can also use. From our company we regularly organize activities such as high teas, creative workshops (flower arranging) or workshops in cooperation with other entrepreneurs. *Please note! For people afraid of heights, the miller's stairs to the attic with sleeping quarters may not be ideal.

This area, created by the reclamation of southern Flevoland, offers a unique mix of nature, recreation and history. Discover the Oostvaardersplassen, where you can see something special all year round: from the rutting season and bird migration to spotting beavers, foxes, the majestic bald eagle and countless other animals that reside here. Go on an excursion in the Oostvaardersplassen or plan a day trip to the Markerwadden. Whether on foot or by bike, this location is the ideal base to explore the nature of Southern Flevoland or the city of Almere. Discover the connecting path behind the Ecotheetuin that connects the Oostvaardersplassen inside the dike with the Lepelaarsplassen. A unique nature experience with panoramic views over the Markermeer. Visit the nearby willow forest and walk along the kingfisher path (floating path made of willow reeds).
