Nature house in Formentale

We felt very comfortable in the house. It has enough space for 4 to 5 people. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with the most important things for cooking, eating, etc. As the weather is mostly friendly and warm, you spend most of your time outside anyway. The hosts have set up a large table with plenty of chairs next to the house, so you can usually eat your meals in the fresh air. For further relaxation and cooling off, there are hammocks and a mini pool that you can use at any time. The grounds are spacious and airy. There are terraces with olive trees and if you need advice on possible excursions in the area or have any other questions or problems, you can contact the hosts. Communication with them was very good and we received a lot of useful information. The cottage is definitely recommended for a summer vacation with peace and relaxation.

Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Es hat genug Platz für 4 bis 5 Personen. Die Wohnküche ist mit den wichtigsten Dingen für das Kochen, Essen usw. ausgerüstet. Da das Wetter überwiegend freundlich und warm ist, verbringt man die meiste Zeit sowieso draußen. Die Gastgeber haben einen großen Tisch mit genügend Stühlen neben dem Haus aufgestellt, sodass man die Mahlzeiten meistens an der frischen Luft einnehmen kann.
Zur weiteren Entspannung und zur Abkühlung gibt es Hängematten und einen Minipool, den man immer benutzen kann. Das Gelände ist genügend groß und luftig. Es gibt Terassen mit Olivenbäumen.
Wenn man Ratschläge zu eventuellen Ausflügen in die Umgebung braucht oder sonst irgendwelche Fragen oder Probleme hat, kann man sich an die Gastgeber wenden. Die Kommunikation mit ihnen hat sehr gut geklappt, wir haben viele nützliche Infos bekommen.
Für einen Sommerurlaub mit Ruhe und Entspannung ist das Häuschen auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

The house is situated on a hill, accessible via a narrow road. From the house you have a beautiful view of another wooded hill and in the other direction into the valley towards Lucca. There are several other houses on the road leading to the house and also in the neighborhood. Nevertheless, Casa Formentale is a quiet and natural place where you can spend a lot of time outdoors and relax. You don't hear many cars, but rather birdsong or crickets.

Das Haus steht auf einem Hügel, zugänglich über eine schmale Straße. Vom Haus aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf einen weiteren, bewaldeten Hügel sowie in der anderen Richtung ins Tal nach Lucca.
An der Straße, die zum Haus führt, stehen noch einige andere Häuser und in der Nachbarschaft ebenfalls. Trotzdem ist Casa Formentale ein ruhiger und natürlicher Ort, an dem man viel draußen sein und gut entspannen kann. Man hört wenig Autos, sondern eher Vogelstimmen oder den Gesang von Grillen.
