Nature house in Charron

Great!!! We want to go road cycling there in the summer. The area is very hilly, so you get your meters of altitude. There are lots of small roads and you can get a 3-course meal with wine for 15-20€ at lunchtime. La vie française!!!

Wir wollen im Sommer dort mal Rennrad fahren. Die Gegend ist sehr hügelig, man kommt also auf seine Höhenmeter. Es gibt viele kleine Straßen und man bekommt Mittags für 15-20€ ein 3 Gänge Menu mit Wein.

We (a couple in our 50s) stayed in the cottage for a week at the turn of the year. It was absolutely charming. No luxury but super cozy. The terrace was very nice even at 0°. Watching the sunset in the evening with a warm blanket and hot tea. Great. The view of the cow pasture behind the house was super relaxing, as the cows move at a snail's pace. We went for lovely walks from the house and the small town nearby with its market day on Tuesday was also great. You can also eat very well in the surrounding area (by car). Small French restaurants with simple but very good cuisine. An oil fireplace makes a cozy warmth and the sauna is great (once a week for free, after that you have to pay, which I find perfectly fine, because the electricity in France is certainly not free either) The hostess is an absolute pearl :-)

Wir (Paar um die 50) waren über den Jahreswechsel für eine Woche im Häuschen. Es war absolut bezaubernd. Kein Luxus aber super gemütlich. Die Terrasse war selbst bei 0° sehr schön. Abends mit warmer Decke und heißem Tee den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Toll. Der Blick auf die Kuhweide hinter dem Haus war mega entschleunigend, da sich die Kühe im Schneckentempo bewegen. Von Haus aus haben wir schöne Spaziergänge gemacht und der kleine Ort in der Nähe mit Markttag am Dienstag war auch toll. Man kann in der Umgebung (Auto) auch sehr gut essen gehen. Kleine Französische Gaststätten mit einfacher aber sehr guter Küche. Ein Öl-Kamin macht eine wohlige Wärme und die Sauna ist toll (einmal pro Woche kostenlos, danach muss man bezahlen, was ich aber vollkommen in Ordnung finde, da der Strom in Frankreich bestimmt auch nicht umsonst ist)

Die Gastgeberin ist eine absolute Perle :-)

The house is extremely tasteful and furnished to a high standard. Everything works perfectly. Lucy is an attentive hostess. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Das Haus ist äußerst geschmackvoll und wertig eingerichtet. Alles funktioniert tadellos. Lucy ist eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

The cottage is situated in beautiful surroundings, pure nature, absolute tranquillity.

Das Häuschen liegt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung, Natur pur, absolute Ruhe.

Jullie waren mijn eerste gasten via Natuurhuisje.nl en idealere gasten had ik mij niet durven dromen, zó respectvol, rustig en aardig. Ik hoop jullie weer te mogen ontvangen.

We were in this beautiful cottage in January, and could not have booked a finer cottage! The location is nice, close to a village and nice walks nearby (or a short drive). The nice town of Clermont-Ferrand is an hour away, should you want to take a bigger trip! The cottage is super cozy, and the kitchen is certainly spacious enough to prepare an extensive meal. Everything is clean and tidy, and the sauna visit was also very pleasant! In January it is especially very cozy, we can imagine that in spring and summer it must also be beautiful with all the flowers. In addition, Brechje is really a super sweet and attentive hostess! There was a bottle of wine and some delicious salts ready for us to use, and further is really everything you can need or think of present. In short: very cozy cottage, super facilities and a super hostess! Absolutely recommended :)

Wij waren in januari in dit mooie huisje, en konden geen fijner huisje geboekt hebben! De locatie is fijn, dichtbij een dorpje en mooie wandelingen in de buurt (of een klein stukje rijden). Het leuke stadje Clermont-Ferrand is op een uur afstand, mocht je een wat groter uitstapje willen maken! Het huisje is super gezellig ingericht, en de keuken is zeker ruim genoeg om een uitgebreide maaltijd te bereiden. Alles is schoon en netjes, en het sauna bezoek was ook heel erg aangenaam! In januari is het vooral heel knus, we kunnen ons voorstellen dat het in de lente en zomer ook prachtig moet zijn met alle bloemetjes. Daarnaast is Brechje echt een super lieve en attente gastvrouw! Er stond een flesje wijn en wat lekkere zoutjes klaar voor ons om te gebruiken, en verder is echt alles wat je nodig kan hebben of bedenken aanwezig. Kortom: heel sfeervol huisje, super faciliteiten en een super gastvrouw! Absoluut een aanrader :)
