The cottage has 1 sleeping/living room with a double bed, and a (sleeping) couch, heating, a hot rain shower and toilet. The patio of this house has a well-equipped kitchen, and a heat stove. It flows beautifully into your private garden, with a cozy campfire place. On request and free of charge, the new sauna is heated with wood. Also feel free to light the sauna yourself, you can use it as often as you like. Dogs are also welcome! See you at Okkernoot !

The private forest is located in a quiet wooded area. Antwerp is a 25-minute drive away, and the area is very popular with hikers and cyclists. Grobbendonk is an excellent base for an active, short vacation. We had the most amazing experience for a long weekend over Easter. The one bedroomed cottage is perfect for two people and the adjacent outdoor, covered kitchen & dining area was just a blissful surprise! Everything was catered for when it comes to the kitchen and the barbecue, meant the outdoor dining experience was even more enjoyable! The sauna is a lovely addition and sits right beside the cottage - if you are willing the outdoor pool allows you to have a cold dip afterwards! Above all, the hosts in Anouk & Ernesto couldn't have been more helpful and kind during our stay - thanks again to you both!So, if you are looking for a wonderful getaway, immersed in nature, then this is the spot to distract yourself from the busyness of normal life. Oh and I forgot to mention, the shower was terrific!

What an incredibly nice place to unwind. Lovely sauna and lots of greenery/nature nearby. We had cooked our dinner in advance and easily heated and eaten in the outdoor kitchen. Special place with super nice hosts!
Wat een ontzettend fijne plek om tot rust te komen. Heerlijke sauna en veel groen/natuur nabij. We hadden vooraf ons avondeten gekookt en hebben dat makkelij in de buitenkeuken opgewarmd en gegeten.
