Experience peace and quiet and stay in our cozy house in the middle of unspoiled Norwegian nature. The house from the 1950s combines modern conveniences with authentic charm. Located on a hill at an altitude of over 700 meters, it offers breathtaking views of the mountains beyond. With the opportunity to end your day in the wood-fired hot tub, this is the perfect base for an unforgettable vacation. The house sleeps up to 5 people spread over 2 bedrooms (from mid-April 2026 max 8 people spread over 3 bedrooms). The spacious living kitchen with a long dining table invites for cozy meals. In the living room there is a wood stove to heat the house. Drinking water comes from our own well, and we ask our guests to separate and compost waste. If available, you can use the yoga/meditation/music room on the land for free. Dogs are also welcome, under certain conditions (see house rules). Max. 1 dog per party.
Nature and surroundings
From our land you walk directly into the forest and because of its location between the national parks Jotunheimen and Rondane, the possibilities to go into nature are endless. In the summer you can make beautiful walks or mountain bike tours. On the river Sjoa you can go kayaking or rafting. Fifteen minutes away is the large Lemonsjø lake, where you can swim or take a boat out. In winter you can ski at the Lemonsjø ski resort and for the cross-country skiers there are over 150km of trails, some of which go all the way to Jotunheimen. For the animal lover, there is also plenty to do. Nearby are several farms with horses, huskies, alpacas or moose. Despite its free location and proximity to wild nature, basic amenities such as a small supermarket and bakery are less than a 10-minute drive away. Otta, Vinstra and Vågå, where most amenities and stores are available, are a 30-40 minute drive away.
