The Château de Sariac is a former monastery dating back to the 14th century. Located in the north of the beautiful Hautes Pyrenees, the buildings are built in an 8000 m2 park, with a private fenced garden and swimming pool with terrace. The Gatehouse gite has been sympathetically restored and can accomodate 2 people in a luxury environment, perfect for couples who want a romantic getaway. The 4-poster bed is kingsize and boasts a comfortable Emma mattress, and the open-plan downstairs living space has a well-equipped kitchen, cosy sitting area with dining table for romantic meals for 2! It is just a 3 minute walk into the village, or a 5 minute drive to the nearest town with restaurants and supermarket, so peace and quiet is guaranteed.
Nature and surroundings
The chateau is in a beautiful setting with views of the mountains and is perfect for nature lovers! We have many different types of birds nesting in our buildings, including hoopoes, owls, red kites. We are in a dark area with few houses and lights around us, so that also means we can see amazing stars and often the Milky Way.
