In regional natural park 'Le Morvan', amidst the wooded hills and old farmland lies our old authentic farmhouse. We are the only inhabitants of this valley with the name 'Le Prenet. ' . The old servant's house has been converted with natural materials into an attractive cottage. There is a wood stove and a well-equipped kitchen overlooking the herb garden and hills. The bedroom faces east, from the fine bed you can see the sun rise. On the side of the cottage is a walled terrace where you can enjoy the sun and the view 100% privately. We have a quiet and "green" business at home. Nataschja is maître herboriste and everything around the farm is dedicated to medicinal plants. Herbs are grown and harvested on the land behind. Herbal workshops and multi-day courses are held in the adjacent herbal workshop, among other things. Here is nothing and therefore here is everything! Silence, peace, space, nature and dark nights. Bienvenue!
Nature and surroundings
The Morvan is a protected regional natural park. We describe the landscape here as a spacious, gentle embrace. Nature here is still unspoiled in many places. There are beautiful walks directly from the cottage. Actually, it is beautiful everywhere here. There is nothing that "disturbs the eye. You can wander everywhere, soak up the silence, enjoy the old trees, the birds (black stork, hoopoe, wheatear, raven) and listen to the gurgling springs. Half an hour away you will find Bibracte : "A Gallic city under the forest". The Morvan has beautiful lakes where you can swim. There is no mass tourism here. When you visit the Morvan, you basically come for the silence, clean air, beauty of the landscape and unspoiled nature. Of course, in the area you can also visit typical French villages and towns. On our website we give you some tips with places of interest. But just 'being here' and enjoying the nothingness is what most people come for.
