    The kind of place you start missing the moment you drive away. The beautiful, intimate landscape (just 20 cows in a large pasture full of wildflowers), the influence of the water and the sea—it’s stunning.

    The overgrown garden was spacious, and there was plenty of sun and shade. It’s very well fenced for larger dogs, and our little escape artists only managed two successful escape attempts in 10 days—but even then, there’s hardly any traffic, and they were back before anything could happen.

    It’s great for walking and biking, though you have to keep the dogs on a leash almost everywhere because of all the sheep on the dike.
