Nature house in Nijemirdum

There are no negative comments. As far as we are concerned, everything is fine and definitely worth repeating.

Er zijn geen negatieve opmerkingen. Wat ons betreft is alles dik in orde.
En zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

It is a super nice house. The house is fully equipped. Nice view over the horses.The owners of the house are very hospitable and are very helpful.

Het is een super fijn huis. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooi uitzicht over de paarden.
De eigenaren van het huis zijn erg gastvrij en zijn zeer behulpzaam.

The warm welcome, the care given to everything in the cottage feels very pleasant. The cottage is fully equipped and help with anything is always available. You really feel like a 'welcome guest'! Add to that the beautiful varied surroundings of Gaasterland, the walks / (bike) tours) you can make directly from the cottage, absolutely great!

De hartelijke ontvangst, de zorg die in het huisje aan alles is besteed voelt heel prettig aan. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en hulp bij wat dan ook is altijd aanwezig. Je voelt je echt een 'welkome gast'! Tel daarbij op de prachtige afwisselende omgeving van Gaasterland, de wandelingen/(fiets)tochten) die je direct vanuit het huisje kan maken, helemaal top!

From the cottage you have a beautiful view of the fields, the mill, the church tower and in the distance the dike by the IJsselmeer. Further on in the garden horses walk around and the blackbirds hop around on the lawn looking for food. The suet box in front of the living room window is still busy and the cattail further on is in beautiful bloom. All this together feels very pleasant. The cottage is located in/near the edge of the village and you notice that.

Vanuit het huisje heb je mooi uitzicht op de velden, de molen, de kerktoren en in de verte de dijk bij het IJsselmeer. Verderop in de tuin lopen paarden rond en de merels hippen op het grasveld rond op zoek naar eten. De mezenkast voor het raam in de woonkamer wordt nog druk bezocht en de kattestaart verderop staat prachtig in bloei. Dat alles bij elkaar voelt erg aangenaam. Het huisje ligt in/aan de rand van het dorp en dat merk je wel.

We were the first guests in this Nature House. A fine and comfortable house. Warm and quiet amidst the storm that raged these days. A large kitchen with lots of space, lovely beds, nice location on the edge of the village. We enjoyed the view from all the windows in the spacious living room. And what a light! We walked to Aldemardum in the storm, for oliebollen and bread. And some groceries in the small and cozy supermarket. The forest offered shelter and gave ample opportunities for new walks. (Cycling seems very nice here too, but the weather was not suitable for that.) After the storm there was sunshine and we walked to the war memorial at the IJsselmeer. What a view! Rainbow, clouds, sun. Lovely that space. And in the evening a view of a beautiful starry sky. What peace and quiet here. Hendrik and Annelies are a fine host and wife, pleasant in communication, both before and during the stay.

We waren de eerste gasten in dit Natuurhuisje. Een fijn en comfortabel huis. Warm en rustig temidden van de storm die er deze dagen woedde.
Een grote keuken met veel ruimte, heerlijke bedden, leuk gelegen aan de rand van het dorp. We genoten van het uitzicht uit alle ramen in de ruime woonkamer. En wat een licht!

We zijn in de storm naar Aldemardum gewandeld, voor oliebollen en brood. En wat boodschappen in de kleine en gezellige supermarkt. Het bos bood beschutting en gaf ruime mogelijkheden voor nieuwe wandelingen. (Fietsen lijkt ons hier ook heel fijn, maar het weer was daarvoor niet geschikt.)

Na de storm was er zon en zijn we naar het oorlogsmonument bij het IJsselmeer gewandeld. Wat een uitzicht! Regenboog, wolken, zon. Heerlijk die ruimte. En 's avonds zicht op een prachtige sterrenhemel. Wat een stilte en rust hier.

Hendrik en Annelies zijn een fijne gastheer- en vrouw, prettig in de communicatie, zowel voor als tijdens het verblijf.

Gaasterland, for us an unknown and unexpectedly beautiful part of the Netherlands: rolling, wooded and watery. Small villages, friendly and convivial atmosphere. Attractive walking and cycling area.

Gaasterland, voor ons een onbekend en onverwacht mooi stukje Nederland: glooiend, bosrijk en waterrijk. Kleine dorpjes, vriendelijke en gemoedelijke sfeer. Aantrekkelijk wandel- en fietsgebied.
