Relax in this cozy wooden lodge in a relaxing place. Feel welcome in the middle of a wooded area, surrounded by nature near our own lake. Located near the triprovincial point of Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland. Discover villages like Bakkeveen and Norg while cycling or walking, or nature reserves like the Bakkeveen Dunes, the Nanninga's Forest and the Harense Bos. National Park Drents-Friese Wold is about 23 km away.Distances: Drachten 17 km, Groningen and Assen 29 km, Leeuwarden 43 km, Amsterdam 163 km.The lodge (40 m²) with veranda has a sitting room, open kitchen, toilet, bedroom, shower room and wood stove. The lodge is located in our garden of 1 hectare, close to our own lake. In addition to this lodge we also rent two studio lodges.Heating: wood stove (no central heating). 1 bag of firewood included, extra wood €10 per bag. In the lodge there is a double bed (160×200 cm) and a sofa bed (140×204 cm).
Nature and surroundings
In the outskirts of Zevenhuizen, in municipality west quarter, this lodge is located on a wooded lot with its own lake. Marvel at the many birds, including the kingfisher who is a regular guest at our lake. With a little luck there is a roe deer in the garden, see a squirrel or even a pine marten. Located near three province point Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland. Experience nature while cycling or walking and discover quaint villages like Bakkeveen, Norg and the Bakkeveen dunes. Junction routes start in front of the door. The Nanninga's bos, the Bolmeer and Harense bos are just around the corner and can be reached on foot from your accommodation. Fancy some more water fun? In Marum (4.9km) is a nice outdoor pool, ronostrand is a beautiful place in nature to hang out in a large lake (4.3km) or if you want more action at a lake with an assault course, slide and cable car go to Openende (12km). Of course we are happy to give you all the tips to have a great time with us.

Jeanine October 29, 2024 General rating:Small note, there was very sparse tableware. A wine glass, for example, would have been nice. There was a very nice veranda but you looked out on a large barn, while behind it was a beautiful pond and forest. That was a bit unfortunate.

Er was heel karig servies. Een wijnglas bijv. Was fijn geweest. Er was een hele fijne veranda maar je keek uit op een grote schuur, terwijl daarachter een mooie vijver en een mooie bosrand was. Dat was een beetje jammer.Nature, peace & environment:Spacious cottage. Very nice and cozy fireplace. We were there for two nights which was nice. Just do nothing. Beds were very nice. Nice pillows. Fine mattress. Pity only of the 2 1-person comforters. That was slightly less romantic. And made that I very often woke up fighting with the comforter. If you're two is a 2-person comforter just much cozier
Ruim huisje. Heel fijne en gezellige open haard. We waren er twee nachtjes dat was fijn. Even lekker niks doen. Bedden waren heel fijn. Lekkere kussens. Fijn matras. Jammer alleen van de 2 1-persoons dekbedden. Dat was iets minder romantisch. En maakte dat ik heel vaak wakker werd in gevecht met het dekbed. Als je met zn tweetjes bent is een 2-persoon dekbed gewoon veel gezelliger
