Bed & Breakfast room with private entrance - set in our private courtyard. The bedroom faces the garden & there is a private shower room. The room has Tea and coffee making facilities & a mini fridge. There is a table & chairs inside & outside, and also in the garden which you are welcome to use. There is no public transport but we live in an excellent area for cycling & we can offer you a safe place to store bicycles. Bikes can be rented from our local Tourist Office. Babies are welcome but please note we don't provide any bedding or equipment for children. Included with your room is a home-made, continental breakfast with bread, yoghurt, compote, hard-boiled eggs, jam, juice, tea and coffee. On Thursday to Sunday, we have an on-site meal delivery service for vegetarian meals using local produce. These can be ordered before 21h30. Free parking is available 50m away outside the church.

Nature and surroundings

We live in a small rural village (300 inhabitants) about 5kms from the nearest town. We are 30kms from the Opale coast and its magnificent beaches. The village is quiet in a 'rural way' so there is sometimes the noise of cockerals or farm vehicles. There is a good sized garden behind your holiday cottage with trees, flowers and our vegetable garden. There are a number of quiet places to sit and/or dine. We don't use sprays and our garden is bee friendly. When we have excess, we sell our spray-free, home-grown vegetables and fruits to our guests. Your room faces onto our enclosed (recycled) brick courtyard. We live in the house opposite your cottage and there is a small gite (2 person) next door - so there will be a maximum of 5 other residents sharing the space.
