Nature house in Bajardo

This nature house is a detached house on a mountain, surrounded by forest and overlooking the ancient "Borgo" of Bajardo. Neli and Dimitri are renting out the spacious upper apartment; a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, glassware, etc. (no dishwasher, with a combination microwave/oven), and a living room with doors leading to the balcony that wraps around the entire house. The hallway leads to two identical bathrooms, with hot water, showers, toilets, and bidets, heating, and equipped with towels and bath towels, as well as to the three bedrooms. All rooms are the same size, and two rooms have doors leading to the balcony. The garden features a large lawn and terraces on various levels, a vegetable garden, and is accessible via the outdoor stairs. A gas grill and an original pizza oven are available, as well as a washing machine. Free parking is available. We are very proud of it and hope that everything is treated with respect.

When Neli and Dimitri first found themselves at the top of this mountain, they were instantly captivated by the tranquility, the natural beauty, and the breathtaking views. Bajardo is located at nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, about 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of coastal towns like Sanremo and Ventimiglia, and an hour’s drive to the west lies the French border and Monte Carlo. Bajardo is a centuries-old borgo, nestled among dozens of other medieval villages, fairly isolated, but that has the advantage of keeping it free from mass tourism. The surrounding area, with over 80 km of hiking trails, is ideal for mountain bikers and hikers. This location is perfect for finding complete peace and quiet—not too hot in the summer and pleasant in the winter, with the added bonus of a sauna. There are several local restaurants, a few shops, an electric car charging station, sports facilities, and a bus connection to Sanremo, France, and Monte Carlo.
