Nature house in Mormont (Erezée)

What a beautiful view, what a pleasant welcome by Elodie, very relaxed atmosphere. It was a hot weekend so it was also quite warm inside, but definitely doable (provided you close the blinds and don't open the windows because of the mosquitoes ;-))). Large kitchen that is also accessible to the owners but we did not encounter them there. So you can cook there fine (electric), large fridge, enough cutlery, pans, etc. Large dining table, nice benches in front of the window. Above the kitchen is the part for sleeping and showering. Considerable stairs so not suitable for people with poor(er) mobility. Lovely bed, good mattress. Convenient storage space made behind the bed. Showering with rainwater is also fine, good jet, spacious shower. Also the tap is with rainwater, but that's also no problem to brush your teeth with that. The dry toilet is a wonderful invention, nice to experience once :). There is even another floor on top where there was a bunk bed and some playgo

Wat een schitterend uitzicht, wat een aangenaam welkom door Elodie, hele relaxte sfeer. Het was een warm weekend dus binnen was het ook vrij warm, maar zeker te doen (mits je de rolgordijnen sluit en de ramen niet opendoet vanwege de muggen ;-))). Grote keuken die ook toegankelijk is voor de eigenaren maar die zijn zijn we daar niet tegengekomen. Je kunt er dus prima (elektrisch) koken, grote koelkast, voldoende bestek, pannen, etc. Grote eettafel, leuke bankjes voor het raam. Boven de keuken is het gedeelte om te slapen en te douchen. Behoorlijke trap dus niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht(er) ter been zijn. Zalig bed, goed matras. Handige bergruimte gemaakt achter het bed. Douchen met regenwater is ook prima, goede straal, ruime douche. Ook de kraan is met regenwater, maar dat is ook geen probleem om daar je tanden mee te poetsen. Het droogtoilet is een prachtige uitvinding, leuk om een keer mee te maken :). Er zit zelfs nog een verdieping op waar een stapelbed stond en wat speelgo

From the house you are directly in the heart of all kinds of famous Ardennes cotes and colletjes. We have blissful cycling (which you can secure with a lock), including the Stockeu, Wall of Huy, La Redoute all within reach. Around the house is a beautiful garden where you can walk through, next to the house a beautiful old cemetery where a serene rest. Plenty of nice places to eat nearby. We did not get the second part of B&B (breakfast), I have the idea that this is no longer possible? Anyway, we enjoyed it, great value for money and very hospitable people! Highly recommended!

Vanaf het huisje zit je direct in het hart van allerhande bekende Ardense cotes en colletjes. We hebben zalig kunnen fietsen (die je vast kunt zetten met een slot), o.a. de Stockeu, Muur van Hoei, La Redoute allemaal binnen bereik. Om het huis is een prachtige tuin waar je doorheen kunt lopen, naast het huis een mooie oude begraafplaats waar een serene rust heerst. Voldoende leuke eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Het tweede deel van B&B (breakfast) hebben wij niet meegekregen, ik heb het idee dat dit niet meer mogelijk is? Hoe dan ook hebben we heerlijk genoten, prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding en hele gastvrije mensen! Aanrader!

We stayed one weekend in the spring at the Eco Lodge as a base. The stay and the surroundings are beautiful, in the morning you can hear nature waking up and in the evening you can see the stars appearing. The shower and bed are comfortable, the living kitchen fully equipped. The lodge is built completely Eco friendly. We would love to come back again:)

We hebben een weekend in het voorjaar verbleven in de Eco Lodge als uitvalsbasis. Het verblijf en de omgeving is prachtig, in de ochtend hoor je de natuur ontwaken en in de avond zie je de sterren verschijnen. De douche en het bed zijn comfortabel, de woonkeuken volledig uitgerust. De lodge is geheel Eco friendly gebouwd. Wij komen graag weer terug:)
