This Finca (near Yecla, Caudete, literally "in the shadow" of mountain range El Cuchillo) is a former farmhouse and weekend home of a Spanish family. They worked the land during the day and made paella and partied in the outdoor kitchen at night. Upon arrival we were immediately charmed by cottage and surroundings (bird sanctuary and excellent hiking area) : love at first sight! Our Finca is (after thorough renovation) a compact and cozy cottage. It has the feel of a cavehouse but because of the high ceilings you have much more of a sense of space. There is a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (incl. washing machine) and a small sitting area/siesta room with TV. There is sleeping space for 6 people (3 double beds: bedroom, sitting/siesta room, mezzanine), but for comfortable use we recommend 4 people. There is a large swimming pool with a phenomenal view of a beautiful valley full of vines and olive groves. There is good accessibility via Whatsapp and internet.
Nature and surroundings
Welcome to our small rural casa, on an estate of more than 8 hectares, surrounded by fruit trees, spicy steppe, vines and some hefty mountains. Alicante, Valencia and Yecla are the nearest cities. We are in unspoiled territory at 800 m altitude in 1 of the sunniest areas of southern Spain. With seasons: thanks to its altitude and location with plenty of coolness during summer evenings and pleasant temperatures in winter. Come and discover this intoxicating place. Is there anything to do in and around the Finca? Absolutely nothing! And that is just its greatest charm. Here you hear no human noise and there are hardly any neighbors. So if you are in need of seclusion and recuperation, our finca is the right place. You can make great walks, mountain biking, cycling and cruising by car or motorbike. The ideal context we think for people who love nature, sun, Spanish tapas and cheap Estrella `s drink. We are already sold, and you?
