Since 2021 we live in this farmhouse with our three young children. In the back of the 'pleats' we have built two cottages with our own hands: 'de ko' and 'it skiep'. Welcome with coffee/tea and something typical Frysk. Kitchen: with inventory, oven, hob, dishwasher, refrigerator and kitchen textiles. Private bathroom: toilet, bathtub, rain shower, hairdryer, towels, shower gel and shampoo. Lovely electrically adjustable bed with luxury mattresses. Gert November 21, 2025 General rating:Super clean and comfortable cottage with very friendly host. The floor was very cold but the air conditioning heater did warm up quickly for a cozy feeling.

Nature, peace & environment:Highly recommended!!! An excellent accommodation. it was very clean. everything was there. Lovely beds. The farm is located in a rural area with many hiking and cycling opportunities. What a rest! Everything was taken care of in detail and everything is there. We really did not miss anything. Initially we had reserved a breakfast for the first 2 days. This was so well taken care of that we also had breakfast delivered for the rest of the week. This was brought by Wieke (the hostess) every morning at 8:30 a.m. after a knock on the door and a good morning. In the farmhouse was a mini museum where the son (about 7 years old) proudly gave us a tour. Also the owners (Wieke and Douwe) were daily in for a chat and explaining the characteristic farm to us. Our E- bikes could be charged and stored under roof overnight.

Deze was zo goed verzorgd dat we de rest van de week ook een ontbijt hebben laten bezorgen. Deze werd door Wieke (de gastvrouw) iedere ochtend om half 9 na een klopje op de deur en een goedemorgen gebracht.
In de boerderij was een mini museum aanwezig waar de zoon (ongeveer 7 jaar oud) ons vol trots een rondleiding gaf. Ook waren de eigenaren (Wieke en Douwe) dagelijks in voor een praatje en ons uitleg te geven over de karakteristieke boerderij.
