Welcome to our cottage, at our place between Vorden and Lochem, opposite castle de Wildenborch. We (my wife and I, plus two small children) have lived here since 2022. On our property is a comfortable cottage (56m2) that we are happy to make available to people who want to get to know the green surroundings with Hanseatic city Zutphen better. Many species of birds as well as hares, pheasants and deer live here with us. The most impressive thing about our place is the driveway, with 19 tall Metasequoia trees. The famous eight-castle bicycle route passes in front of our place. Bring your bike, hop on and enjoy the Achterhoek scenery around Vorden. Zutphen, an old Hanseatic city, is 15 km away and is also easily reached by bicycle. The cozy Lochem (also with an old center, and the forest on the Lochemse Berg) can almost be seen from the north side of our site and is also definitely worth a visit.
