In the silence of nature and with 100% privacy, unwind in this beautiful - privately owned - idyllic stream valley of 4 hectares, in the middle of the rolling southern French countryside. The valley lies 80 km N-E of Toulouse. Along the stream is a plot of 150 x 25 meters where you can relax. Together with the scenery of an old water mill ruin, you imagine yourself in another world on this lush plot, with a multitude of flowers, plants and butterflies. On the plot, a 4-person (de Wit) - tent and a caravan with kitchen and refrigerator and running water and with 2 beds are at your disposal. For enthusiasts there is also a large - not furnished - authentic Tipi present. A wooden bathhouse with sink, shower and dry toilet offer the necessary sanitary facilities. It is recommended to bathe also in a deeper part of the stream. This location is ideal for a family or retreat for small groups of up to 8 people.
Nature and surroundings
When you leave the property via a 1.5 km unpaved road, after a chapel you enter the middle of the rustic southern French hills with many nice villages and medieval towns like Najac, Corde sur Ciel, St. Antonin and Bruniquell. This area is the land of the Cathars, authentic and full of history and culture. It is in this area like South Limburg but more vast and much more sparsely populated, with endless stream valleys and hiking opportunities. Kayaking can be done on the river Aveyron. From the site you walk kilometers upstream of the stream with several more mill ruins and imagine yourself in a scene from Lord of the Rings. Fairytale-like along with the sound of the babbling brook that keeps flowing even in the hot summer. Note: Higher up against the hill of the spacious valley we rent a wooden cabin to other possible tenants (max. 2 persons). This will have little or no impact on experiencing your sense of space and privacy.
