The cottage again made us feel very welcome. Everything was neatly tidy and beautifully styled. As with our previous stay, everything you could wish for was there, this time even supplemented with cotton pads and sticks. Also, the owner had laid out some goodies again and had even been so thoughtful not to lay out the same goodies again, but something different. In the previous review I forgot to mention the beds. The bed in the upstairs bedroom sleeps wonderfully. Our children slept in the living room on the sofa bed and slept well. So for children this one is fine anyway! We were very happy to stay here for two nights after our first (also short) stay was so good.

    Nature, peace & environment: 4 /5

This was our second stay at this cottage within a week. Last time we were here one night, now two nights. Unfortunately this time we were in the area for a funeral and not for our pleasure, but still the surroundings offered welcome peace. As previously mentioned, the garden will be renovated after which it will be a nice place for young and old to relax in.

The cottage is very tastefully decorated and really fully equipped. We were there for just one night and had brought from home things that were all available in the cottage. A small selection of things that were available that you usually never find in a cottage were: a large amount of toilet paper, bubble balls for the bath, washing up liquid and brush, soap, deodorant, a hair dryer, candles, bath towels, kitchen towels etc. And then the owner had also laid out some delicious surprises (salts, sweets and wine) for us. She had even specially asked in advance about the age of our children to put appropriate goodies ready. Very sweet! Since we were only there for one night, we didn't do many activities, so I can't pass judgment on that either.

    Nature, peace & environment: 4 /5

The cottage is very rural, in the midst of meadows. Right next to the cottage is a farm including cows and a limited number of chickens. So the rooster makes sure you do not oversleep, but otherwise it is very quiet in the area and in the ad the animals are also mentioned, so it was certainly not a surprise. Around the cottage is a large garden which, as stated in the ad, still needs to be renovated. Once that is done, it will be a wonderful place to be, for young and old. The already present dartboard was very popular with our children.
