characteristic Norwegian wooden cabin with an unobstructed view. The cabin is located between the Rondane and Jontunheimen nature parks. This 6-person Norwegian cabin brings you back to nature. Water comes from a nearby stream and is directly drinkable. In the summer months there is running water in the house, in the winter months it must be brought in with jerry cans. The cabin is electrically heated but there is nothing like chopping your own wood and using this to light the fireplace during cold days. The hot water needed for the shower comes from an electric water heater. All in all, a great place for the true nature lover. Relax in the wood-fired hot tub after a day of hiking. NOTE: the hot tub can only be used in the summer months NOTE: in the winter months (Oct-Apr) there is no running water. This must be brought in through jerry cans. Water can be obtained at the pump station (free) or the hand pump nearby. CAUTION: the cabin is located on a toll road

Around the cabin the hiking/ cross-country skiing possibilities are endless. Sheep and cows roam freely through the area. The location of the cabin is characterized by a central location with a whole range of possibilities. Despite the completely free location in nature are the basic facilities within 20 minutes drive. Summer: In the summer you can make endless beautiful walks with the cabin as a starting and finishing point. Not far from the cabin are 3 small lakes where you can swim and bbq in the summer. Winter: In the winter months, the real winter sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves. From the cabin you are within 25 minutes on the slopes of Kvitfjell. Also Hafjel and Skeikampen are easily accessible by car. Have you seen enough of the slopes then there is more than enough space to make beautiful tour skiing / cross country skiing trips in for example Jontunheimen or Rondane national park. With the highest peaks in Norway absolutely recommended in both summer and winter.
