Our house is located just outside Limeuil on a non-through road, surrounded by greenery, very quiet. The house is fully equipped, including internet and (smart) TV. In the sunny garden, where you also find pleasant shady spots, is the pool. Under the trees you can lounge in a hammock and on seats. There is a good, stone barbecue.In the house are 5 bedrooms for, in total, 10 people, with a bunk bed in the children's room. There is also a study with a double sofa bed. There is a sitting room with a fireplace and the kitchen is fully equipped. Bergerac airport is a 45-minute drive away. Bordeaux airport is 2 hours away. Train stations are in Le Buisson-de-Cadouin, Le Bugue, Siorac-en-Périgord, Bergerac, Périgueux and Sarlat, among others. This is also a great place for a smaller group. Then you just do not use the upper floor. Dogs are, after consultation with the owners, certainly welcome. The property is fully fenced.
Nature and surroundings
For the hikers: the Grande Randonnée passes in front of the house. The hilly surroundings teem with hiking trails. Wildlife, if you know where and when to look, is also plentiful. Those looking for more excitement are within 150 paces of the charming, medieval village of Limeuil, with cozy terraces, the beautiful Jardins Panoramique (with sweeping views of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers converging at Limeuil). In less than 10 minutes walk through the beautiful village you stand with your feet in the river, on the beach of Limeuil. 8 minutes by car is the larger town of Le Bugue (on the Vézère), with 3 supermarkets, pharmacy, medical facilities and the necessary catering. There is plenty to do in the area: Hiking, beautiful castles, nice cities like Sarlat, Belves, Bergerac, prehistoric caves, many nice markets amusement parks for young and old, golf, horseback riding, mountain biking and of course canoeing/kayaking/supping on the river(s).
