Over 200 years old, the detached and well-renovated stone house is characterized by a magnificent view of hills and forests. The thick stone walls convey a feeling of security. It is an ideal place to find peace and quiet. The Morvan has recently become not only a nature park, but also an internationally recognized star park. An ideal place for stargazers. The large terrace invites you to observe the stars and, for those who wish, to sleep under the stars. A special asset of the house is the drinking water, which comes from a nearby spring and gives you strength. Ancient paths used by the Celts and Romans lead right past the house. There are also bathing lakes not too far away.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located in the middle of the old Morvan Nature Park in Burgundy. It has now been awarded the Dark Sky Organization's Dark Sky Protected Area label. You can hike for days in the extensive forests, almost without meeting anyone. If you want, there are also beautifully situated bathing lakes nearby. If you are in the mood for culture, you can find out all about the Celtic civilization at the international archaeological site of Bibracte and its museum. The world-famous Romanesque cathedrals of Autun, Vézélay and Saulieu with their unique capitals are also not far away.
