Nature house in Brandscheid

The cottage was well and nicely furnished. Nothing was out or worn and everything was clean and neat. All the necessities were there and everything worked as it should. There were a few very small things why we don't give a 10, which aren't really worth naming such as I was missing a second frying pan or pillows on the couch because the side supports were a bit hard. And - but then I guess I should have read a little better - I brought a double comforter cover, which was not ideal with 2 single comforters. But again, those are mini points that are not really worth mentioning, but which are the only explanation for why we did not give a 10. By the way, the contact with the manager was also very pleasant; the fact that he spoke Dutch certainly contributed to this as well!

Het huisje was goed en mooi ingericht. Er was niks uit of versleten en alles was schoon en netjes. Alle benodigdheden waren er en alles werkte naar behoren.
Er waren een paar hele kleine dingetjes waarom we geen 10 geven, die eigenlijk het benoemen niet waard zijn zoals dat ik een tweede koekenpan miste of kussens op de bank omdat de zijleuningen wat hard waren. En - maar dan had ik denk ik ook iets beter moeten lezen - ik had een tweepersoons dekbedovertrek bij me, wat niet ideaal was met 2 éénpersoonsdekbedden. Maar nogmaals, dat zijn mini-puntjes die eigenlijk het benoemen niet waard zijn, maar wat de enige verklaring is voor waarom we geen 10 gegeven hebben.
Overigens was het contact met de beheerder ook erg prettig; het feit dat hij Nederlands sprak droeg hier ook zeker aan bij!

It was very quiet at our cottage and very private, although it helps that we did not have neighbors on either side, and the weather was bad so both the neighbors and we barely sat outside. Otherwise you could still see and hear each other... The view was beautiful though! What we also found a (small) minus was that you could not easily walk from the house because the bungalo-park (you) was located on a major road. So you could not just walk into the woods or something. But overall it was perfect, because you did not have to go far by car to still enjoy nature!

Het was heerlijk rustig bij ons huisje en erg privé, al scheelt het wel dat we niet aan beide kanten buren hadden, en dat het slecht weer was waardoor zowel de buren als wij amper buiten hebben gezeten. Anders zou je elkaar nog wel eens kunnen zien en horen...
Het uitzicht was wel prachtig! Wat wij ook wel een (klein) minpuntje vonden was dat je vanuit het huisje niet makkelijk kon wandelen omdat het bungalo-park(je) aan een grote weg lag. Je kon dus niet zomaar even het bos instappen of iets dergelijks. Maar over het algemeen was het wel perfect, want je hoefde niet ver met de auto om alsnog heerlijk van de natuur te genieten!
