Our Villas are located in Castello di Gello, which is a wonderful sleepy borgo set in the hills just below the Novanta hotel in Tuscany. A place to retreat, to enjoy nature, to stargaze and to immerse yourself in the Italian rural life. After driving the last 3 km on our gravel road uphill (you can make it without a problem with your car - just go slow and steady), you arrive in Castello di Gello, a settlement of 9 houses, surrounded by nature. In the past years, we fully refurbished 3 beautiful Villas with their own private gardens, grill area, fully equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fire place and glorious views of the mountains above and the valley below. Our Villas are completely unique and individually decorated by our in house artist + designer, along with beautiful handmade artisan details by our building + carpentry team.
Nature and surroundings
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by over 300 hectares of fields and forests, not to mention being on the edge of the Casentino National Park! Along with the village of Borgo di Gello where you will find our novanta hotel with fully catered hotel rooms, you will be staying in the former castel: Castello di Gello. We are surrounded by wonderful Italians who have the stories, the knowledge, the connections and the advice to help us learn how to live on our wonderful mountain. They show us their secret recipes, their hidden paths through the forest, and where to buy the best ice-cream in town - and we want to share all those things with you! As you stay in your private independent Villa, you can decide to join the hotel's experiences and meals or if you would like to discover the hiking paths, the Corsalone river and surrounding villages on your own.
