Mediterranean vacation home in a quiet location, 1 km outside Carpignano Salentino. The natural stone house has a cozy, covered terrace with outdoor shower and large garden. There is an open kitchen with a five-burner gas stove, oven, double sink and a small dishwasher. Internet wi-fi, air conditioning and heating are available in every room. Il Cocco offers 2 bedrooms with double bed. If necessary, one of the double beds can be separated into 2 single beds. We are a German-Italian family and live on the neighboring property, about 100m from the vacation home. We are happy to help you with advice and tips.
Nature and surroundings
Carpignano Salentino is a typical southern Italian village with 3500 inhabitants. Restaurants, supermarket and bakery are 1km away. The attractive provincial capital of Lecce can be reached in half an hour by car. After a beautiful drive along extensive olive groves (13km), you reach the very varied coastline. Kilometers of sandy beaches, "Alimini" beach, "Baia dei Turchi". The coastal town of Otranto with its beautiful old town is also only 14 km away - steep coastline interrupted by small sandy bays with crystal-clear water: Passing small fishing villages, you reach Cap Santa Maria di Leuca.
