Nature house in Kollumerzwaag

The cottage has everything you need. It's a great base for all kinds of outings.
The park is perfect for short walks in the morning and evening; the dog run and gnome forest were great.

Huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Goede basis voor allerlei uitstapjes.
Op park kan je goed ochtend en avond korte wandeling maken, honden tuintje en kabouterbosje was prima.

A quiet, friendly park with charming free-roaming chickens, roosters, ducks, two rabbits, and cats.
One chicken was even nesting in our little garden under a butterfly bush; the area was securely fenced off, so the dog could lie down off-leash.
Our dog is friendly toward all the other animals, though he does have to be on a leash, of course.

The owner was attentive and helpful.

Rustig, vriendelijk park, met gezellige loslopende kippen, hanen, eenden, 2 konijnen, katten.
Er broedde zelf een kip in ons tuintje onder vlinderstruik, deze was goed afgesloten, zodat de hond los kon liggen.
Hond van ons is vriendelijk voor alle anderen dieren, moet wel aan de lijn natuurlijk.

Eigenaar was attent en behulpzaam.

The mattresses are too soft... but it's a nice, big bed!

Matrassen zijn te zacht ..wel een mooi groot bed!

It was very nice. Super quiet. You don't even notice the other people on the pitch. The only thing you can hear is the chickens crowing and the occasional dog barking. Great for dog owners! There is also a small fenced-in dog meadow. Dogs can run and play freely there. With a sign on the gate you can let other people know whether your dog wants contact with other dogs or not. This means you can use the site alone for a while. Leashes are compulsory on the site because of the free-range chickens, chicks, geese and rabbits. The whole site itself is super cute. There is a pond with little boats, a mini forest you can walk through - there are little porcelain dwarfs along the way :) The couple who own the property are very helpful and friendly. The woman offers yoga and Pilates, the man scurries around the site and makes sure everything works. Both even speak quite good German. It was a great vacation :)

Es war sehr schön. Super ruhig. Von den anderen Leuten auf dem Platz merkt man gar nichts. Das Einzige was man hört ist das Krähen der Hühner und wenn hin und wieder ein Hund bellt.
Toll für Hundebesitzer! Es gibt auch eine kleine eingezäunte Hundewiese. Dort können die Hunde frei laufen u spielen. Mit einem Schild am Tor kann man andere Leute informieren, ob der eigene Hund Fremdhundekontakt möchte oder nicht. So kann man den Platz für eine Weile allein nutzen.
Auf dem Platz gilt Leinenpflicht wegen freilaufender Hühner, Küken, Gänse, Kanickel.

Das ganze Grundstück an sich ist super süß gestaltet. Es gibt einen Teich mit Bötchen, einen Miniwald durch den man spazieren kann - dort stehen kleine Porzellanzwerge am Wegesrand :)

Das Paar, dem das Grundstück gehört ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Frau bietet Yoga und Pilates an, der Mann wuselt auf dem Platz rum und sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Beide sprechen sogar recht solides deutsch.

Es war ein super Urlaub :)

It was super quiet. You don't even notice the other people on the site. The only thing you hear is the chickens crowing, the geese chattering and the occasional dog barking. It's about a 25-minute drive to the nearest town, but there's also a supermarket nearby. You can also reach the sea in 25 minutes. There are mainly wide meadows, fields and a few trees around the site :) The site itself is also very green.

Es war Super ruhig. Von den anderen Leuten auf dem Platz merkt man gar nichts. Das Einzige was man hört ist das Krähen der Hühner, das Schnattern der Gänse und wenn hin und wieder ein Hund bellt.
Bis zur nächsten Stadt fährt man etwa 25 Minuten, aber auch in der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt.
Auch das Meer erreicht man in 25 Minuten.
Rund um das Grundstück gibt es vor allem weite Wiesen, Felder und ein paar Bäume :)
Auf dem Grundstück selbst ist es ebenfalls sehr grün.
