The starting point is a two-person cottage that exudes peace and quiet and also offers the experience of the outdoors inside. We built the cottage in the ruins of a barn whose walls were left standing. These will gradually become overgrown with native climbing plants. The cottage is light and finished with local larch wood. I myself love cooking: a kitchen can never be complete enough. The bathroom is spacious and ample: the bathtub overlooks the edge of the forest. The house is located near the entrance to De Hoge Veluwe, at Buitenplaats Koningsweg on the outskirts of Arnhem.
