I designed and built the house together with a friend with much attention and love. The starting point is a two-person cottage that exudes peace and quiet and also offers the experience of the outdoors inside. We built the cottage in the ruins of a barn whose walls were left standing. These will gradually become overgrown with native climbing plants. The cottage is light and finished with local larch wood. I myself love cooking: a kitchen can never be complete enough. The bathroom is spacious and ample: the bathtub overlooks the edge of the forest. The house is located near the entrance to De Hoge Veluwe, at Buitenplaats Koningsweg on the outskirts of Arnhem. Exceptionally beautiful cottage. Very nicely finished and really thought of everything. Beautiful place too and were able to sit in the sun last weekend out of the wind.
