It wasn’t until after 10:00 p.m. on Thursday evening that things finally quieted down. The neighbors were tearing down a horse stable, which was extremely noisy. We really found that to be a downside. They’d be better off doing the demolition during the day when the vacationers next door are away.
Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. Personally, I’d suggest installing some kind of roll-up screens on the large sliding door in the living room.

De rust was donderdagavond pas na 22.00 uur aanwezig. De buren waren een paardenstal aan het slopen, met erg veel lawaai. Vonden we echt een min punt. Ze kunnen beter overdag slopen als de naast gelegen vakantiegasten weg zijn.
Verder prima woning. Ik zou persoonlijk iets verzinnen van een soort plice rolhorren bij de grote schuifdeur in de kamer.

Just like on previous visits, the cottage left nothing to be desired (which is why we didn't stop at just one visit).
The location is perfect, offering privacy, tranquility, space, and beautiful nature all around.

Net als bij eerder bezoek liet het huisje niets te wensen over (vandaar dat het niet bij één bezoek is gebleven).
De plek is perfect, met privacy, rust, ruimte en prachtige natuur rondom.

A lovely little cottage if you value comfort and enjoy coming "home" after a day out. Or just relaxing on the patio under the trees.

Een heerlijk huisje als je gesteld bent op comfort, lekker 'thuis' komen na een dag weg. Of lekker luieren op het terras onder de bomen.

A spacious, clean, and comfortable cottage. Everything is in great condition (like new). Comfortable and spacious living and dining area, pleasant lighting. Large sliding doors that you can, of course, open all the way when the weather is nice, so you can step right out onto the patio under the trees. There’s plenty of comfortable patio furniture under the awning. The kitchen is fully equipped. You don’t need to bring spices, coffee, tea, sugar, or anything like that. There’s a large cabinet containing toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, a vacuum cleaner, an iron, and so on. The bathroom is spacious with a nice walk-in shower; just bring your own bath towels. Upon arrival, Carin welcomed us with a bottle of white wine (in the fridge) and a butter cake to go with our coffee. And aside from the occasional passerby on the dirt road (a cyclist or hiker), your only company is the birds. We also saw two deer in the evening.

Een ruim, schoon en comfortabel huisje. Alles is netjes (als nieuw). Comfortabele en ruime zit- en eethoek, aangename verlichting. Grote schuifpui die je met lekker weer natuurlijk helemaal openzet, zodat je zo het terras onder de bomen oploopt. Onder de overkapping staat voldoende en comfortabel tuinmeubilair. De keuken is voorzien van van alles. Kruiden, koffie, thee, suiker enzovoort hoef je allemaal niet mee te nemen. Een grote kast met daarin toiletpapier, keukenrollen, pedaalemmerzakken, schoonmaakspullen, stofzuiger, strijkijzer enzovoort. Badkamer is ruim met fijne inloopdouche, alleen zelf de badhanddoeken meenemen. Bij aankomst heette Carin ons welkom met een flesje witte wijn (in de koelkast) en een boterkoek voor bij de koffie. En verder heb je, behalve af en toe een passant over de zandweg (fietser of wandelaar), alleen gezelschap van de vogels. 's Avonds ook twee herten gezien.
