Just come to yourself in nature, hidden behind our orchard is this nature house. It is built of ecological, environmentally conscious native and European wood. It has its own unique atmosphere. From here you look out over the meadows and orchard of our yard. The nature house is suitable for a maximum of two persons. In this eco cottage you will find a cozy box bed with a double bed and it has more than enough living space. A large fully equipped communal kitchen is in a central location on our yard. The sanitary facilities are also located there. With us you will find other special accommodation such as two tree houses and a small chapel. Please bring your own (bath) towels. There is a wood-fired sauna (17,50 euro/hour) in the yard, please consult with the owner on the day of arrival about the possibilities.
Nature and surroundings
For lovers of culture, history, peace and space, the home port is centrally located between the Frisian Elfsteden Bolsward, Sneek, Leeuwarden and Franeker. At 2 kilometers walking, cycling or boating distance is the picturesque village of Easterein, where the medieval church and Friesian (film) café/restaurant are worth a visit. You quickly become impressed by the beautiful farms, picturesque meadows and waterways. To enjoy these waterways, canoes can be rented on site. Terherne, where the books of the Kameleon come to life for children, is easily accessible from this location. A visit to the various Frisian Eleven towns nearby is all worthwhile. Franeker, for example, has the oldest working planetarium in the world, which can be visited. The port city of Harlingen, where ferries leave for Terschelling and Vlieland, is rich in cozy fishing cafes. Bolsward, with its beautiful town hall and canals, is also just a stone's throw away.
