Nature house in Hubermont

Le petit loup is a true paradise. Everything is neat and freshly finished, with a beautifully designed interior and everything you could possibly need. We wanted for nothing.
Those dark shutters were wonderful for getting a good night’s sleep. Comfortable beds and a really nice shower. We felt right at home.
The only thing we missed in the garden downstairs was a flat spot or patio where we could set up the benches and table straight to enjoy a nice meal. We had to search around a bit for that.
On the plus side, though, there’s shade to be found everywhere—which is nice on hot days, since it gets very hot by the front door and on the porch.
We’d love to come back again, so we can build a fire and go canoeing. We couldn’t do either of those things this time because of the extreme drought.

Le petit loup is een waar paradijs. Alles is netjes en fris afgewerkt, mooi samengesteld interieur en zeer compleet. Het ontbrak ons aan niets.
Heerlijk die donkere luiken om goed te kunnen slapen. Goede bedden en een hele fijne douche. We voelden ons meteen 'thuis'
Het enige wat we in de tuin beneden miste was een rechte plekje/terras waar we de banken en tafel recht konden zetten om fijn aan te eten. Dat was nu een beetje zoeken.
Pluspunt was dan wel weer dat er overal wel schaduw te vinden is , fijn voor de hete dagen, dan is t bij de voordeur en op de veranda heel erg heet.
Wij zouden er graag nog eens terugkomen, om dan een vuurtje te kunnen maken en te kunnen kanoën. Dat kon nu beiden niet door de extreme droogte.

Prachtige omgeving, omgeven door bos en mooie wandeling naar de vallei om naar de Ourthe te kunnen gaan. De natuur en rust is overal om je heen. Eekhoorns en vogels iedere dag in de tuin

Given the high rating, we had expected more. The noise from the neighbors upon arrival and the lack of Wi-Fi were definitely annoying, especially for our daughter. It’s advertised as having Wi-Fi, so it should work, but that turns out not to be the case. The presence of a TV also suggests that there should be some channels available, but the TV is only there for streaming (which also doesn’t work without Wi-Fi).

Gezien de hoge beoordeling hadden we er meer van verwacht. Nare ervaring met de herrie bij aankomst van de buren en ontbreken van de Wifi was zeker vervelend, vooral voor onze dochter. Er wordt wel mee geadverteerd dus dan zou het moeten werken, dit blijkt echter niet het geval te zijn. Ook de aanwezigheid van een TV doet vermoeden dat er iets van zenders te ontvangen zijn maar TV is enkel aanwezig om te streamen (wat ook niet werkt zonder WiFi).

Cozy little cottage, not very big, with a nice porch overlooking the garden, which could use a bit of maintenance. The cottage is supposed to have Wi-Fi, but it only works very occasionally—late at night or early in the morning until around 8 a.m. The owner says they’re aware there are connection issues and that it might be time to “disconnect.” There’s also little to no 4G/5G coverage due to the location in the woods (poor reception). There’s a TV, but no cable or subscription, so it’s only suitable for streaming—though without Wi-Fi, it’s of no use here.
Upon arrival, the neighbors were having a party and made a huge racket well into the night; throughout the rest of the week, there was also occasional noise or the sound of neighbors arguing.
The cottage is located on the edge of a forest where you can go for nice walks, though some trails are steep. Hubermont has no other amenities.
You can smell the sewer when flushing the toilet or taking a shower on the veranda.

Knus huisje, niet heel groot, fijne veranda met uitzicht op tuin die wel enigzins onderhoud zou mogen hebben. Het huisje zou WiFi hebben echter die doet het alleen heel soms 's avonds laat of 's ochtends vroeg tot een uur of 8. Eigenaar geeft aan dat het bekend is dat er verbindings issues zijn en het wellicht tijd is om te 'deconnecteren' . Ook 4G/5G is niet of nauwelijks aanwezig vanwege de locatie in het bos (slechte ontvangst). Er is een TV echter geen kabel of abonnement en alleen geschikt om te streamen, echter zonder WiFi heb je hier niets aan.
Bij aankomst hadden de buren een feest en enorme herrie tot diep in de nacht, ook de rest van de week soms lawaai of geluid van geruzie van de buren.
Het huisje zit aan de rand van een bos waar je prima kunt wandelen met soms steile paden. Hubermont heeft verder geen voorzienningen.
Riool is te ruiken bij doorspoelen/douchen op de Veranda.

Prachtig! Je zit in de bomen. Het huisje is perfect ingericht! Hoog kwaliteit apparatuur en ook stijlvol en knus.
