Nature house in Antully

In the 18th century this place was founded by monks who lived together in the big house. They lived from the breeding of animals (horses and cows) and for that they built the shelters that are now furnished as 2- and 4-person gites. In the forests surrounding the Domaine are many hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes. (110 km of trails) Right behind the Domaine passes the GR 137 (a long distance hiking trail of 52 km from Autun to Nolay). The waterfall (100 meters walk from the Domaine) is also worth a visit. About 1.5 kilometers away on a lake is the village of Saint Sernin du Bois. Here daily shopping can be done at the small supermarket, boulanger and boucher. There is also a post office and the Haute Cuisine Restaurant 'Du Chateau' of chef Laurent Bouthenet. The lake is the region's drinking water supply. 10 min away Le Creusot for larger stores. The nearest large town is Autun (19 km). Autun is a beautiful place with a rich history. The medieval center offers ample reason to spend an afternoon there.
