Very quietly located nature house on 1 ha of private land on both sides of the river Nohain, with large, biodiverse garden and swimming pool. Modern conveniences but cozy, simple and rustic. Wood-fired hot tub next to pool. The house has two bathrooms, downstairs (white/grey bathroom in photo) with toilet and shower, upstairs (pinkish bathroom in photo) with bath and bidet. Upstairs two bedrooms, the first with double bed, desk and closet, the second with two single beds and closet. A second farmhouse (with the lilac shutters) belongs to the property, currently still in spartan condition. Perhaps in the next few years it can also be booked (not rented separately)! Further over the property; a beautiful river with small jetty and arched bridge, many large trees (poplar, willow, oak, beech, walnut, pear, apple, cherry etc). Lawn little mowed in spring except for paths with lots of flowers, across the river unmanaged.
Nature and surroundings
Very nice rural area, with nice villages, hundreds of old churches and delicious wine. Lovely for walking and cycling. Some of the highlights are the villages of Sancerre and Pouilly, the Loire, Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye (especially if you like ceramics), the croissants and patisserie in Donzy (9 km away the nearest village with a good Intermarché, bakery, cafe mill for nut oil, and other stores), and the kingfisher and beavers along our own stretch of river. And in summer the "vide-greniers" (flea markets) in the area (see brocabrac.fr). But we ourselves like to spend days in the garden reading a book, playing games, swimming, bbqing and admiring plants :)

wonderful and quiet. pity of the weather which was a bit disappointing but that is nature you can not regulate. beautiful pool to swim quietly. many trees to discover. plus at the end plot the NOHAIN river which is there to unwind. highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and quiet. so definitely book once.greetings
heerlijk en rustig. jammer van het weer die beetje tegen viel maar dat is de natuur die kan je niet regelen. mooie zwembad om rustig te zwemmen. veel bomen om te ontdekken. plus op einde perceel de NOHAIN rivier die daar is om lekker tot rust te komen. een aanrader voor iedereen die rust en kalmte zoek. dus zeker eens boeken.groetjes
