Our house is located in the Diois region, on the heights of a small village of 38 inhabitants, at an altitude of 600 m, in the Quint valley, 14 km from Die in the south of France. It's an atypical house that can accommodate many people thanks to its space and layout. Even with a large number of guests, everyone can find the space and peace and quiet they need. It's a very comfortable, warm and welcoming house that we've been renovating for 8 years. It is bioclimatic: its large south-facing greenhouse provides warmth in winter when the sun comes out. A log-burning stove takes over when the sun disappears. Solar and photovoltaic panels complete the installation. Sanitation is provided by a phyto-purification system. There are dry toilets on the ground floor and water toilets upstairs. The house comprises a large living room with an adjoining kitchen.
Nature and surroundings
The surrounding countryside is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the many walks and bike rides that leave directly from the house. There's no shortage of river spots to cool off in the summer when it's very hot. There's also plenty of rock-climbing. Peace and serenity are the order of the day.

There's creativity, we can laugh at some of the details created by the architecture (see our friends showering while looking at the greenhouse ceiling), call each other from one balcony to another. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy such a resourceful space.
