Andre April 28, 2025 General rating:The sympathetic owners have been running their gite with large garden for barely 2 years. It is already a relief to stay here and you can expect it to get even better. Here you meet nice people in a top location and with a lot of love for authenticity. Apart from beautiful landscapes around, there is not much to do in the village, but on walking or cycling distance you are (in almost all directions) in less than 5 minutes in the middle of nature (forests, deeply cut stream valleys) where you can enjoy the local fauna, flora and especially tranquility. During those nature trips you will discover here and there a ruin, a castle, a spectacular railroad bridge or a cozy authentic village, like Naves itself. We visited the area in spring, a must if you love the fast budding nature, lots of gurgling water in the streams and fresh flowers in just about every garden. Inguna, Andre; Spike (May 2025)
De sympathieke eigenaars zijn amper 2 jaar bezig in hun gite met grote tuin. Het is nu al een verademing om hier te logeren en je kan verwachten dat het hier alleen nóg beter zal worden. Hier maak je kennis met toffe mensen op een toplocatie en met veel liefde voor authenticiteit.
Buiten mooie landschappen rondom is er in het dorp niet veel te beleven, maar op wandel- of fietsafstand zit je (in zowat alle richtingen) op minder dan 5 minuten midden in de natuur (bossen, diep uitgesneden beekvalleien) waar je met hartelust kan genieten van de lokale fauna, flora en vooral rust. Tijdens die natuurtochten ontdek je her en der wel een ruïne, een kasteel, een spectaculaire spoorwegbrug of een gezellig authentiek dorp, zoals Naves dat zelf ook is. Wij bezochten de omgeving in het voorjaar, een aanrader als je gek bent van de snel ontluikende natuur, veel klaterend water in de beken en frisse bloemenpracht in zowat alle tuinen.
