The house has an oil fired central heating system. However, for these moments when one needs some cosy warmth the livingroom features a lovely wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped. The adjoining dining area has a large table with four chairs. The built-in wardrobes of the bedrooms do provide ample storage for your belongings. The bathroom has a bath tub with a shower. The house is situated in Roads, near the hamlet of Kells and about five kilometres off the famous Wild Atlantic Way, the “Ring of Kerry”. You feel the quietness sinking in the minute you leave the car with just the occasional tractor passing or the baaing of the sheep. The unobstructed view over Dingle Bay, Dingle Pensinsula and the Blasket Islands in the distance is certainly breathtakingly beautiful. This rural area is free of pollution and light emission and hence part of the internationally recognised “Kerry Dark Sky Reserve”. In clear nights you will see a million more stars then anywhere else. Even the Milky Way shows itself quite a lot. In about 15 minutes by car you reach Caherciveen – a typical Irish Market Town with supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, doctors and shops.
