The house is located 500 m from the center of Stadtkyll, in the heart of the Vulkaneifel. The apartment is on the first floor and features a glass-enclosed balcony (25 square meters with individually adjustable glass side panels and a glass roof with an awning), which overlooks a bird sanctuary like a hunting blind. This makes up the majority of the very large property. The apartment itself is approximately 90 square meters in size and features a living room, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen-diner, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The bedroom with a single bed also includes a pull-out couch. The couch in the living room is a high-quality TRECA bed. Everything has been lovingly renovated in keeping with the style of the home, featuring partly electric roller shutters and very high-quality beds (also TRECA). All in all, it is an oasis of well-being. There is ample parking on the property. In addition to the large balcony, you can relax in the landscaped area of the garden, which features a separate seating area. E-bike rentals can be arranged.
Nature and surroundings
Satdtkyll is located in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, which is especially beautiful in the summer. Notable nearby towns include Kronenburg, Prüm, and Gerolstein—which is 20 km away—as well as Hillesheim and the county seat, Daun. The border with Belgium is 13 km away. The towns of Bad Münsteifel and Monschau are nearby, as are Aachen, Trier, and Cologne, all within 100 km. The surrounding forest and country trails offer opportunities for extensive nature explorations of the Eifel landscape and idyllic villages. There is an extensive network of hiking and biking trails. The house is surrounded by the natural beauty of the area and is ideally connected to the B51 and the Europastrasse. Shopping options are available in the town of Stadtkyll (bakery with café, butcher shop) and in the immediate vicinity (toward Jünkerath). There are various restaurants and several snack bars in town.
