The sheepfold has been completely renovated as a vacation home using natural materials such as wood, clay and local stone. The natural materials used create a pleasant atmosphere and a gentle way of life. The toilets are supplied with rainwater (nature house!) When you return from a walk, you can light a wood fire and relax in the vacation home with a good book and/or an aperitif!
Nature and surroundings
Daverdisse is a small village in southern Belgium, in the Ardennes forests, between France and the E411 freeway (10 minutes away). A starting point for numerous signposted walks and mountain bike trails. You're close to Han-sur-Lesse, Redu (a village of books, space and even art), the magnificent Mudia museum and Space Art gallery, Eurospace center, as well as Saint-Hubert, Lavaux-Ste-Anne, Bouillon and Dinant. A cycle path, formerly a railroad line, runs along the Almache river from Wellin to Bièvre, passing through Daverdisse. Attractions in Daverdisse and the surrounding area include: - Saint-Pierre church, a neo-classical building dating from 1847; - the former mill on the Almache, now a hotel-restaurant; - the former castle of the Lords of Daverdisse.

Nature, peace & environment:Had a wonderful stay with a small group in this house that can accommodate two or three families. Very complete (kitchen) equipment, fine sanitary facilities, lovely garden furniture, quiet environment. Full enjoyment of the Ardennes with short and long walks, picnic on the waterfront, children can play in the water. And we were very hospitably received by Nathalie, who gives you good tips about the area.
