It is a beautiful spacious house converted into a country farmhouse in the Limousin, ideal for people who love nature and the outdoors, but also want to stay close to a city with all its amenities. On the ground floor is the spacious living room, very well-equipped kitchen, toilet and 2 bedrooms (each with 2 single beds), each with its own bathroom. On the second floor there are three bedrooms each with 2 single beds and a third luxurious bathroom. There is WiFi throughout the house. The house is heated by underfloor heating and radiators connected to a heat pump. Through the living room or kitchen you enter the terrace with a peaceful wooded view. The terrace is equipped with table / chairs, parasol, deck chairs and a bbq. In addition, for cooling and entertainment on the property is a rectangular above ground pool of over 7x3.5m with a depth of about 1.3m. The garden/entrance is not yet fenced.
Nature and surroundings
The Limousin is a piece of authentic France known for its, unspoiled nature, rivers, lakes, forests, rolling countryside, clean air, porcelain and its Limousin cows. Around the L' Aure you will find picturesque medieval villages such as Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat and Eymoutiers and 10 minutes away the village of Feytiat with all its amenities and 15 minutes away the great porcelain city of Limoges. You can enjoy walking from the L'Aure in the rural/woodland surroundings. There are also numerous hiking / biking (mountain bike) trails in the immediate vicinity. Or e.g. a little further into the Massif des Monts de Blond, an unspoiled region with menhirs and peculiar megaliths, or around the beautiful Lac-de-Vassivieres located in the nature park Millevaches where you can do numerous activities such as sailing, canoeing, archery, tennis, miniature golf etc. on the shores. There are also beautiful swimming lakes in the area: Châteauneuf, Bujaleuf, Lac-de-Vassivieres and Saint Pardoux.
